Happy #NationalPancakeDay! We’re excited to share this craveable recipe made with our new Strawberry Creme Fruit Infusion.
– 250g of gluten free plain flour
– 1 egg
– 1 & 1/2 tablespoons of baking powder
– 1/4 teaspoon of salt
– 2 teaspoons of red beet powder
– 300ml Koia Strawberry flavor
– 3 tablespoons of olive oil
Add the flour, baking powder, egg, salt and red beet powder into a bowl and mix.
Red beet powder will give the pancakes a pinkish color, and sweet flavor without compromising the taste. Pour Koia strawberry flavor, add olive oil and combine until smooth.
Heat a lightly oiled frying pan over medium high heat. Pour or scoop the batter onto the griddle, using approximately 2 tbs for each pancake. Brown on both sides and serve hot.
Pro tip: Add whip cream, fresh strawberry and have fun 🙂
